Fagge is a prominent Local Government Area (LGA) located in Kano State, Nigeria, within the metropolitan area of Kano. Its administrative headquarters is in the suburb of Waje. Covering an area of 21 km², Fagge had a population of 198,828 according to the 2006 census.

Established on December 4, 1996 from the former Nasarawa LGA, Fagge is culturally rich, predominantly inhabited by Hausa and Fulani ethnic groups, alongside other significant communities. The Hausa language is widely spoken, and Islam is the primary religion, with Christianity also practiced by some residents.

The LGA enjoys a tropical climate. The dry season is hot and partly cloudy, while the wet season is muggy and overcast. Annual temperatures generally range from 53°F (12°C) to 102°F (39°C).

Economy: Trade is the mainstay of Fagge's economy, hosting major markets such as Kwari, Singa, and Sabon Gari. Agriculture also plays an important role, with crops like sorghum, rice, millet, and soybeans widely cultivated. Traditional crafts such as pottery, weaving, and textile dyeing are also significant contributors to local commerce and culture.
